Dezembro foi o melhor mês, com a entrada de US$ 650 milhões

“Com o número recorde de divisas internacionais, divulgado hoje, temos a confirmação de que o Brasil tem muito a ganhar quando investe no desenvolvimento do setor. Superamos todas as nossas expectativas”, comemorou o ministro do Turismo, Gastão Vieira.
 
O ministro se referiu aos dados divulgados pelo Banco Central. Os número dão conta de que - no ano passado – os turistas estrangeiros gastaram US$ 6,775 bilhões no Brasil, o que representa um crescimento de 14,4%, em relação a 2010, quando o número ficou em US$ 5,9 bilhões.
 
“Dezembro de 2011 foi o melhor mês de toda a série histórica e registrou, sozinho, US$ 650 milhões”, contabilizou Vieira. Até então, março de 2010 tinha sido o melhor mês, quando o movimento registrado de entrada foi de US$ 630 milhões.
