O Estado de Minas Gerais teve um incremento de 27,1% no número de turistas, em relação ao ano anterior, ultrapassando a média nacional de 15,5%. Os desembarques no aeroporto Tancredo Neves cresceram 39,5% no período, de acordo com dados da Infraero.

"A posição que Minas Gerais ocupa hoje reafirma a assertividade do governo no trabalho de planejamento e captação de novos voos para o Estado, por meio do Programa Decola Minas", explicou o secretário de Estado de Turismo de Minas Gerais, Agostinho Patrus Filho.
