Os turistas que visitam Recife de janeiro até o Carnaval podem conferir mostras da cultura local em apresentações gratuitas de dança e música na Pracinha de Boa Viagem com o projeto Arte na Praça, que tem o apoio da Secretaria de Turismo do Recife. Todas as quintas-feiras, das 20h às 22h, o público confere shows de maracatu, frevo, caboclinho e ciranda. O visitante tem ainda a oportunidade de conhecer melhor os pontos turísticos da cidade a partir de uma apresentação do destino, com dados, informações, história do frevo e diferenciais da capital pernambucana. 

Ontem (12/01), a atração foi a Cia Arte Folia, seguida da banda de frevo Só Mulheres, acompanhada de dez passistas de frevo.
